Robert Ginty was appointed an ambassador for the Prince's Trust in the United Kingdom by Prince Charles, his royal highness the Prince of Wales, in 2005. The Prince's Trust is the UK charity that helps young people overcome barriers and get their lives working. They focus their efforts on those who've struggled at school, been in care, been in trouble with the law, or are long-term unemployed.
Robert Ginty is an overseas member of actor Russell Crowe's South Sydney Rugby League Club, The Rabbitohs.
As an Honorary Member of The Blues and Royals Regiment, Robert Ginty was appointed to The Sandhurst Foundation, a charitable organisation made up of serving and retired officers of the British Army. The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst has been training officers for the British Army and other countries for nearly 200 years. Its forbears trace their heritage back to 1741. The Academy currently trains almost all officers that serve in the British Army.
In 2008, Robert Ginty was elected a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, where he contributes articles to the society's magazine as well as speaking as an advocate on behalf of preserving classical American architecture. The National Trust provides leadership, education, advocacy, and resources to save America's diverse historic places and revitalize communities.
Rights & Democracy (International Centre for Human Rights and Democratic Development), is a non-partisan organization with an international mandate. It was created by Canada's Parliament in 1988 to encourage and support the universal values of human rights and the promotion of democratic institutions and practices around the world.
Basel, Switzerland - June 13 - 17, 2007
The works of Robert Ginty will be shown at Art Basel (38), the world's premier modern and contemporary art fair. 20th and 21st century art works by over 2000 artists will be on display. 55,000 art collectors, art dealers, artists, curators and art lovers attend the annual meeting place of the art community.
Santa Monica, California - March 17 - April 14, 2007
Robert Ginty curates the first US show of Irish artist Michelle Rogers at the Track 16 Gallery in Santa Monica, California. The show, entitled "Troubles at Home," runs from March 17 through April 14, 2007. In this body of work she focuses on the "everyman" we see in the streets of New York — the working class.

A film about the Aristocratic son of a Duke, heir to estates and a member of Parliament, Lord Edward Fitzgerald of Leinster House, Dublin (now home to the Irish government). Lord Edward, who was elected to Parliament in 1783, and who was a colleague of Wolfe Tone and a disciple of Thomas Paine, died a revolutionary in the Irish rebellion of 1798.

In April 2006 Ireland will experience a unique celebration of one of Ireland's foremost writers, Nobel Laureate Samuel Beckett. Beckett was a master of many genres from novels to dramas to extraordinary one-act plays. His works and his powerful influence on other artists will be showcased in Ireland throughout the month of April.

Spoleto, Italy - At the sixth annual LaMaMa International
Symposium for Directors, leading international directors
will teach workshops for professional directors from around the world.
The three week symposium will run from July 19 to August
8 at LaMama Umbria International in Spoleto, Italy.
Montreal, Quebec - From May 25 to June 8, 2005,
the 11th Festival de théâtre des Amériques will
be presenting in Montreal exciting new works by influential, innovative
artists from the national and international contemporary theatre scene.
Toronto, Ontario - The new musical version of Anthony Burgess's
A Clockwork Orange (1987) directed by Robert
Ginty, is based on the 1962 novel with same name. The play revolves
around the theme of free will and forces audiences to confront the
choice between two evils: youthful violence or suppressive government
control where both youthful aggression and passion are constrained.
Director Robert Ginty brings Toronto audiences a fresh perspective
at the classic work by updating the action of the play to here and
now. With Rap, Hip Hop, Gospel and Classical Music scoring the violence
of the play.
The World's Greatest Parties (created by Robert Ginty) - Every culture, country, city, town,
and village has one. Every ethnic group, social group, and religious
group has one.
There's a brief, intense, and emotional element to parties and celebrations.
They hold the potential to connect to an individual, on a new level,
in a new perspective but the party always ends and you return to your
life. We capture these relationships developing on camera. Then we
show "the after", the host or audience contest winner, who
is changed, touched, affected by this brief yet potent interaction.
The RMC is the best kept secret of Canadian
education and of the Canadian Forces. The series depicts one year in the life of cadets of the RMC as they grow from teenagers to adulthood. These images serve to remind Canadians
that nation-building is still going on, right here in Kingston.
